Associate Validation Engineer

Miguel has several years of validation experience in the medical device and pharmaceutical industry.   Knowledgeable with design, installation, start-up and validation of electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems. Participated in validation projects for production equipment including tablet presses, ovens, refrigerators, freezers, stability chambers and building management systems. Hands-on experience with dataloggers including programming and calibration. Skilled at electromechanical and hydraulic equipment assembly, debugging, and qualification.

EXPERIENCE ...  

• Project responsibilities have included performing temperature and humidity profiles of rooms, freezers, sterilizers and stability chambers utilizing data loggers inclusive of programming, calibration and report generation.

• Participated in validation of refrigerators, freezers, stability chambers, high-pressure vessels, HVAC units, environmentally controlled rooms, tablet presses, encapsulating machine and Building Management Systems at several medical diagnostic and pharmaceutical firms.

• Developed preventive maintenance procedures for equipment and utilities utilized in the medical device and pharmaceutical industries.

• Conducted analysis/study of maintenance departments and presented alternative proposals to increase the efficiency for a utilities corporation.
